=====================================

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

  Thailand’s fuel of choice, or is it?  Before 1970’s, the word Natural Gas was understood by only a handful of people in this country.  As Thailand enters its third decade of gas utilization as power generation fuel, NGV, cooking gas, more and more people have come to appreciate the value of this indigenous fuel and its “value chain”.  Learn about  nature of the gas business.  Are all gases coming out of the ground the same in quality?  Are gas wells going to run dry in the next 20 years?  Why is LNG being considered in a country like Thailand?  Why is it important to import gas from neighboring countries?  Learn how gas is moved from its sources to markets.  Understand its important role in the petrochemical business.  More important, how gas pricing works, and what gas competes with.
