1-day Public Training Course:

Making Effective Presentations

December 3, 2010 at Chaophya Park Hotel, Ratchapisek Road, Bangkok

This Effective Presentations training course is designed to help participants create and present effective presentations.

Participants learn how to determine realistic presentation objectives, analyze the audience, use supporting materials effectively, organize a presentation clearly, and successfully incorporate visual aids.

This is a practical effective presentation training course that introduces proven techniques for  developing effective presentations as well as do’s and don’ts for delivering presentations with confidence.  The approach will involve presentations and discussion to introduce the concepts of effective presentations and practical exercises to develop personal skills.

Having completed this effective presentations training course participants will be able to:

Plan and build  presentations
Understand how to analyze the audience and effectively use supporting material
Understand the right presentation mechanics
Know how to prepare for and deliver presentations
Know the ‘Do’s and Don’ts of developing and delivering presentations

This course is designed for those managers and professionals who develop and give presentations as part of their routine job function.

 

About the speaker

Michael J. Schweitzer, PMP is the Vice-President – Organizational Development of The Mentor Group International, a company dedicated to “Building Project Management Capability” in Thailand and other Asia counties, using a unique coaching and mentoring approach.

Michael has been a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) since 2001 has served on the Board of Directors of the PMI Bangkok Chapter as well as Chapter President. He has served as a Mentor for the PMI Chapters in the Asia Region and currently hold the position of Executive Vice President for the PMI Bangkok Chapter.

 Over the course of his career, Michael has been involved in all aspects of Project and Program Management in various segments of the Telecommunications and the Oil and Gas industry.  His experience spans from Civils construction work and telephone equipment installation for major mobile network rollouts through to the development and implementation of IT and IS systems as well as Project Management training, coaching and consulting.
