Invensys OpsManage Thailand 2011: Real Collaboration, Real Time Results

Invensys Operations Management held OpsManage Thailand 2011, an annual user conference on August 19 at The Hilton, Pattaya. The theme of the event was Real Collaboration, Real?Time Results, with key focus on how to synchronize business strategies with production execution through real?time, enterprise?wide data and control integration to achieve operational excellence. More than 120 customers from key oil and gas, power and engineering companies in Thailand attended the event.

 The event was opened by Terence Chan, Managing Director and Vice President, ASEAN, Japan and Taiwan, who gave a presentation and demonstration on InFusion and the concept of enterprise control.

 InFusion is Invensys’s Enterprise Control System which is built on the open, industrial standard ArchestrA System Platform. Enterprise control enables closed-loop business control across an enterprise, regardless of product make or brand, providing the ability to combine control, intelligence and process management to facilitate the four pillars of optimization – Environment & Safety, People, Asset and Control.

บริษัท อินเวนซิส โอเปอเรชั่นส์ แมเนจเม้นต์ ได้จัดงานการประชุมกลุ่มลูกค้าประจำปี “OpsManage Thailand 2011” เมื่อวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม ที่ผ่านมา ณ โรงแรม เดอะ ฮิลตัน พัทยา กับหัวข้อ “Real Collaboration, Real?Time Results”พร้อมนำเสนอประเด็นหลัก เรื่อง การผสมผสานกลยุทธ์ทางธุรกิจเข้ากับการดำเนินการผลิต ผ่านการให้ข้อมูลที่เป็นปัจจุบันพร้อมกันทั่วทั้งองค์กร บวกกับการควบคุมแบบบูรณาการ เพื่อสร้างความเป็นเลิศในการปฏิบัติงาน สำหรับการประชุมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมเป็นกลุ่มลูกค้าชั้นนำจากบริษัทที่ดำเนินธุรกิจด้านน้ำมัน ก๊าซ พลังงาน และวิศวกรรม รายใหญ่ในประเทศไทยกว่า 130 ราย

 นอกจากนี้ งานOpsManage Thailand 2011ยังได้รับเกียรติจาก Mr. Terence Chan กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ และรองประธาน ภูมิภาคอาเซียน ญี่ปุ่น และไต้หวัน ของอินเวนซิส ซึ่งเดินทางมาเป็นประธานเปิดงานพร้อมกับนำเสนอและบรรยายเกี่ยวกับกลไก InFusionและแนวคิดเรื่องการควบคุมองค์กร

Bayer Young Environmental Envoy 2011

Ms. Celina Chew, Managing Director of Bayer Thai Co, Ltd and the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy Program committee jointly congratulated 40 newly-appointed Bayer Young Environmental Envoys 2011 at a certificate presentation ceremony, held at the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park, Amphur Cha-am, Phetchaburi province.

 The best five envoys were announced for participation in a full-week educational trip to Germany on environmental management with their counterparts from 17 other countries worldwide during October 16-21, 2011.

 ทูตไบเออร์เพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ประจำปี 2554

มิสเซลิน่า ชูว์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ไบเออร์ไทย จำกัด และกรรมการโครงการทูตไบเออร์เพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับเยาวชนจำนวน 40 คน ที่ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็น “ทูตไบเออร์เพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ประจำปี 2554” ในพิธีมอบเกียรติบัตร ซึ่งจัดขึ้น ณ อุทยานสิ่งแวดล้อมนานาชาติสิรินธร อำเภอชะอำ จังหวัดเพชรบุรี

 สำหรับทูตที่ได้รับคัดเลือก 5 คนแรก จะมีโอกาสเดินทางไปยังประเทศเยอรมนี เพื่อเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทัศนศึกษาด้านการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมร่วมกับเยาวชนจากประเทศอื่นๆ อีก 17 ประเทศทั่วโลก ตลอดระยะเวลา 1 สัปดาห์ โดยกิจกรรมดังกล่าวจะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 16-21 ตุลาคม 2554

PTTEP's innovation "DeepLift" receives Thai patent

Recently, Mr. Anon Sirisaengtaksin (right), President and Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP, received a Thai patent for the new innovation “DeepLift” from Mrs. Patchima Thanasanti (left), Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property at the IP FAIR 2011, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Mr. Siriwat Kachornprasart, Deputy Minister of Commerce was a witness.

 The DeepLift technique invented by PTTEP engineers, not only increases oil production but also reduces operation expenses and allows production optimization. This new innovation is useful to both PTTEP and the world exploration and production industry. It was already awarded a U.S. patent.

เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ นายอนนต์ สิริแสงทักษิณ(ขวา) ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ปตท. สำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียม จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ ปตท.สผ. รับมอบสิทธิบัตรสิ่งประดิษฐ์เครื่องส่งผ่านก๊าซ หรือ DeepLiftจากนางปัจฉิมา ธนสันติ (ซ้าย) อธิบดีกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา ในงานตลาดนัดทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา (IP FAIR 2011) ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ โดยมีนายศิริวัฒน์ ขจรประศาสน์ (กลาง) รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ เป็นสักขีพยาน

 นวัตกรรม DeepLift เป็นเทคนิคที่คิดค้นขึ้นโดยวิศวกรของ ปตท.สผ. เพื่อช่วยเพิ่มปริมาณการผลิตน้ำมัน พร้อมกับลดค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำเนินงาน รวมทั้งเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิต ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ต่อทั้ง ปตท.สผ. และวงการอุตสาหกรรมปิโตรเลียมของโลก สำหรับเทคนิค DeepLift นอกจากจะได้รับสิทธิบัตรในประเทศไทยในครั้งนี้แล้ว ยังได้รับสิทธิบัตรจากประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาอีกด้วย

Esso supports house construction with Habitat for Humanity Thailand

Esso Sriracha Refinery recently supported Habitat for Humanity Thailand to build houses for low-income families in Banglamung District, Chonburi Province. Mr. Richard L Purcell (third left), Project Executive of Sriracha Clean Fuels Project, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, presented 200,000 baht to Mr. Chamnarn Wangtal (second left), Chief Executive Officer, Habitat for Humanity Thailand, to support the building of houses for low-income families in Banglamung District, Chonburi Province.

 Esso has a long-standing policy to conduct business that takes into consideration the environmental and economic needs of the communities in which it operates. On this occasion, the company worked with Habitat for Humanity Thailand, a non-profit organization, to help reduce sub-standard houses and homelessness of local communities by assisting them to build safe and economical shelters.

โรงกลั่นน้ำมันเอสโซ่ ศรีราชา สนับสนุนมูลนิธิที่อยู่อาศัยเพื่อมนุษยชาติ ประเทศไทย ในการสร้างบ้านให้แก่ผู้ขัดสนด้านที่อยู่อาศัยในเขตอำเภอบางละมุง จังหวัดชลบุรี โดย มร. ริชาร์ด เพอร์เซล (ที่ 3 จากซ้าย) ผู้บริหารโครงการปรับปรุงคุณภาพน้ำมัน บริษัท เอสโซ่ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้มอบเงินบริจาค จำนวน 200,000 บาท (สองแสนบาทถ้วน) ให้แก่นายชำนาญ วังตาล (ที่ 2 จากซ้าย) ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร มูลนิธิที่อยู่อาศัยเพื่อมนุษยชาติ ประเทศไทย เพื่อสนับสนุนโครงการสร้างบ้านดังกล่าว

 บริษัท เอสโซ่ ได้ยึดมั่นในนโยบายการดำเนินธุรกิจโดยคำนึงถึงสิ่งแวดล้อมและความเป็นอยู่ทางเศรษฐกิจของชุมชนที่อยู่รอบสถานประกอบการมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน ในโอกาสนี้ บริษัทฯ จึงร่วมดำเนินโครงการกับมูลนิธิที่อยู่อาศัยเพื่อมนุษยชาติ ประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรสาธารณกุศลไม่แสวงผลกำไร เพื่อช่วยลดจำนวนบ้านชำรุดทรุดโทรมและอัตราการไร้ที่อยู่อาศัยในชุมชนต่างๆ ด้วยการสร้างบ้านที่ปลอดภัยและเหมาะสมกับอัตภาพของเจ้าของผู้อยู่อาศัย

IRPC's POLIMAXX Green ABS pellets in the production of Hatari?s fans

Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn (middle) Chief Operating Officer, Upstream and Natural Gas Business, and acting Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Plc presided over the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) on trading cooperation and product development for the environment between IRPC Plc and Hatari Electric Co, Ltd. The MoU involves the use of IRPC’s POLIMAXX Green ABS pellets, which are derived from natural rubber, in the production of Hatari’s fans, intended to be an environment-friendly product as an alternative for consumers. Representing IRPC at the contract signing ceremony were Mr. Nuntachai Prapawatwech (second left), Senior Executive Vice President, Commercial and Marketing, and Mr. Jaturong Worawitsurawatthana (left), Vice president of Petrochemical Business.  Hatari was represented by Mr. Vithaya Panichtrakul (second right), Managing Director, and Mrs. Siriwan Panichtrakul (right), Director.
