Olefins and Derivatives is the first newsletter of its kind published monthly by a Thai institution. PTIT Petchem looks closely at the Thai petrochemical market price movements. The objective of this report is to present REAL market behavior underscored by REAL transacted prices to assist in business and operations decision making and in policy planning.
PTIT Petchem contains:
- PTIT Market Report – features a snapshot of news update, available both in Thai and English, price movement pictures of Ethylene and Propylene chains in Asia, together with the report on Asian crackers' shutdown and reduced operating rates.
- PTIT Bangkok PE, PP Price Statistics – reports weekly and monthly polymer prices in the local market. These never-before-reported prices from PTIT surveys of polymer producers, traders, plastics converters and our in-house knowledge are unique to this report. From January 2005 onward, PTIT Bangkok PE, PP Price Statistics have been reported every fortnight.
- Petrochemical Price Statistics (Other Sources) – provides local polymer prices, as reported by other
organizations, and international chemical and polymer prices to get a wider perspective.
- Petrochemical Monthly Import/Export Statistics – reports Thailand's petrochemicals import and export by both volume and value, covering product chains of Methanol, Ethylene, Propylene, C4,
Benzene, Toluene, O-Xylene, M-Xylene, P-Xylene and Mixed Xylene. Export destinations and import sources of major polymers are also provided.
- Special Quarterly Report on Olefins & Polyolefins Balances – From January 2005 onward, PTIT Petchem has been providing a clearer picture of the market dynamics in terms of the volume of
petrochemical products movements in Thailand by reporting on the quarterly statistics of production, import, export and apparent consumption of Ethylene, Propylene, PE and PP in Thailand.
