Codes of Practice prepared under the auspices of the PTIT are drafted with the help of the petroleum and petrochemicals industry, based on acceptable standards and with special reference to the particular circumstances of the Thai environment.

They are used by the government and industry, sometimes as a reference and to provide guidelines for government agencies to draft new laws and regulations.

PTIT has completed the following Codes of Practice, all pertaining to safety and environmental issues:
